There are lots of podcasts, radio programs, and other audio available on Jungian and related topics. You don’t have to have an iPod or other music player to listen—you can listen from your computer.

Seedwork/Kanuga Dreamwork Summer Conferences

Seedwork has done a great service by providing podcasts of 2008–2010 lectures given at this preeminent summer dream conference. Some of the faculty include: Bob Haden, Susan Sims Smith, Joyce Rockwood Hudson, Jeremy Taylor, Robert Hoss, Larry Maze, and Gary Sparks.

Krista Tippett on Being
“Religion, faith, meaning, ethics, and ideas”

Formerly called “Speaking of Faith,” this weekly radio show features interviews on a wide range of topics. It’s not available on our local NPR station but you can listen online to a huge archive of shows.

“From elephant vocalization (Katy Payne) to quantum physics (John Polkinghorne), from the Sunni-Shia divide (Vali Nasr) to the novelist as God (Mary Doria Russell), from forensic pathology (Mercedes Doretti) to torture (Darius Rejali), from parenting (Sandy Sasso) to play (Stuart Brown), from the meaning of intelligence (Mike Rose) to Obama’s theologian (David Brooks + E.J. Dionne), what we cover as ‘conversation about religion, meaning, ethics, and ideas’ drives towards ancient, animating questions at the heart of the great traditions and beyond them: What does it mean to be human? What matters in a life? What matters in a death? How to love? How to be of service to each other and to the world?” —from the “Being” website.

Some of my favorite interviews have been with Karen Armstrong, Thich Nhat Hanh, descendants of Sitting Bull, Eckhardt Tolle, Parker Palmer, and Barbara Kingsolver. There was a truly excellent program from 10/28/10 with the Dalai Lama, the chief rabbi of the Commonwealth Jonathan Sacks, the presiding bishop of the Episcopal Church Katharine Jefferts Schori, and Islamic scholar Seyyed Hossein Nasr.
